I payed the £20 to unlock my e650 i got the code and the software and it says unlocked (yes it did unlock) but say if i ever made a mistake on my phone and installed a new rom

1. would i lose the unlocked
2. if i did lose it can i keep them files to unlock my phone ever again if i did ever lose the unlocked

Really cant find anywhere so will try here, does getting it unlocked mean it will work on the '3' network (united kingdom), ive heard mixed opinions on them working. thanks
