You will have to hard-reset the device. This will make you loose all data on the phone - but gives you back control. To do so:
- switch off the phone
- press and hold left + right Softkey (the two below the display)
- switch on the device, keeping above pushed down
Confirm the data erasure
- wait.....

No there is not. The omapclock utility that floats around the net only works for OMAP 850 processor, not the one in the E72.
