hello when i'm install IGO 8 and i run the exe then he saying progam application database cannot be found. please inster original application SD card.

i have putting a SD card.

Original iGo, or DL'ed? If original, then go to naviextras.com and update to the latest version, because Omnia support is not included in older versions. If you have a downtorrented version, then you have to edit the sys.txt

In the iGo directory on the SD card. Check the description of the torrent for more info, or get another one with more information :)

Your sys.txt should be in the main folder. mine can be found below.

Make sure you change this:

[folders]

app="\My Storage\Programs\iGO8"

into the location where you have IGO8

You will also need to change your data.zip by this one:

Vervang die van u door diegene die ik bij deze post heb aangehecht. Zorg er wel voor dat je dit:

[folders] app="\My Storage\Programs\iGO8"

vervangt door jouw locatie. Je zal ook jouw data.zip bestand moeten vervangen door die van mij.

Thanks for the solution MrJoneswii, it helped me to fix the god damn problem(I had to modify a little bit the sys.txt according to my device, a Mio P560 but after that rulled the world ;) ).

I have the same problem (program application database cannot be found) with my HTC Touch Diamond. I've changed al lot of things in de sys.txt file but it doesn't work. I'm from the Netherlands so Internal Storage = Intern geheugen and My device = Mijn apparaat.

I tried things as:

app="\My device\Internal Storage\iGO8"

[folders]

app="\Mijn apparaat\Intern geheugen\iGO8"

[folders]

app="\Intern geheugen\iGO8"

[folders]

app="%Intern geheugen%iGO8"

etc.

But none of them worked. So could someone please help me?

There must be a slash (not a backslash) in the path.
