ROM: Omnia - Throttle Custom Rom :: Dark Edition Beta 2 (DXIA2)

This ROM is cooked base on DXIA2 and released only PDA part. You can flash any Phone part you like and flash again with this one. This is for Educational Propose, there might be many bugs as describe at "BETA". So try it with your own risk.

Throttle Launcher is used as a main part to be a UserInterface. For more information please goto http://www.throttlelauncher.com. It has a license valid for 1 month and has to be renewed for free.

Navigation Method : drag from left to upper-right OR right to upper-left to navigate the menu tab.

After Flash, It will be Hard Reset twice. After first launch, please Soft Reset once to complete the installation. :)

yodrak - same rapidshare problem like last time.

Download limit reached.

If you must use rapidshare, create a collector's account and then upload to that account. That way there will be no download limit.

Also you can try using mediafire or 4shared - both are very good.

I don't see it operator settings:/

Have you double-tapped on the screen? If so, please try to set at the setting below :

Please goto tab "Settings" -> TouchFLO3D and drag the top menu from right to left, you'll see "Weather" tab.

You can now set your location using "City, Country" (without Quote) and tick "Auto Update" if needed (it'll automatically update everytime once you're at "Weather" tab)

To check if the City and Country are correct, please goto

http://www.google.com/ig/api?weather=CITY,COUNTRY&hl=LANGUAGE_FIRST_TWO_LETTERS

Example :

http://www.google.com/ig/api?weather=Bangkok,Thailand&hl=EN

by replacing the CITY and COUNTRY to yours. If it's back with the weather info, it's correct and you can use.

For those who don't select "Autoupdate", you can Double tab at the screen to update.

Yes mr y, we do get internet problems from time to time but not to worry.

It would be nice if one of the 10 who downloaded from the original RS link would mirror it for the others.

Dextro in post 7 offers to do so...maybe you can pm him and tell him it is ok to do so ?

Thanks very much for the rom. I am very surprised that TF3D format that provides so much more information and customisation is so stable and do not freeze or crash at all. However,

(1) I am still not able to set the weather to Singapore. After I type in Singapore, Singapore in "city, country" and switch on wifi after soft reset and tapping, still no change in the screen (distorted)

(2) Although I routed the Thumbcal in SetupConfig of TF3D correctly after soft reset I still do not get it at the calendar tab. But tapping at home screen brings me to Thumbcal.

(3) When I try to change the 24 hrs format to 12 the flash clock disappeared completely.

(4) Is it possible to get SMS-chat to work in the message tab.

(5) Replace Internet explorer with Opera.

If we are able to get the above to work and probably add the music tab as well, this application be superior to M2D.

hmm.., please try "Singapore,Singapore" (without quoute). and try tapping on the screen until the waiting icon shows again.

For thumbcal, I understand that you've installed it, right? if so, please use the attached xml file.

Put it (replace) in the My Device\Program Files\ThrottleLauncher\Setups\Touchflo3d

Don't forget to backup the current file. Soft reset once and It should work. :)

hmm, let me try. Maybe, it's throttle specific issue.

Yep sure, install it. and use the attached XML file with the same way as calendar, but this is just once you click New SMS or the Arrow button. (The program shoud be in your storgae card)

again Sure, XML needs to be modified. Let me have some times.

You can bring the Music tab works by activate it in TF3D setting at General Tab. I thought it's not enough work, so I disabled it by default

The weather still cannot work after I do accordingly and also changed language to English (en?). Also after replacing the two xml files and soft reset the calendar page is now blank and the sms button dont work. I have to replace back the backup files to allow it to work normally again. Can you please check the files again.

For calendar, run Thumbcal and goto Menu -> Extras -> Setting. Use the PlainBlack as a skin and select "Show windows taskbar" and "Default calendar".

Please make sure that you have it's running all the time. If not, start it and don't exit the program. Otherwise you will get the blank screen.

Just open the file with Notepad. You can open Start -> Programs -> Accessory -> Notepad on your PC and drag the XML file to opened Notepad. Edit it and save. Then copy it from PC to your Omnia.
