I have not yet closed the installation program or reset the omnia, it is still sitting there connected to my laptop with the green installation bars at full.
I have reinstalled the modem drivers but to no effect.

Is it safe to reset the phone in this situation (by pressing the reset button)?

Please help, I hope I haven't bricked it!

I will get Omnia in next few days with italian win on it.I will use this DXIA5 rom to change to english and I have a few questions for you:

1.Can I do update offline-without internet connection.

2.Will 3G connection to internet work fine for me because I heared some bad experience with Brasilian user

3.Active Sync need to be open when I do update, right?

Thank you and sorry for my bad English.

Best regards from Serbia.

Had ACHJ2 official vodafone version

Followed your instructions.

Upgraded to DXIA5. Thus removed all vodafone extras.

Thanks X-Ray. It's the first update i managed successfully, without Incorrect Software Version errors.

Do you suggest SPB or something else?

Nice work

I just did my second flashing from Omnia MSJH1 to this clean DXIA5 ROM

I had initially i900XXHH1/BVHH1, then I got MSJH1  and now I have DXIA5 clean ROM

Excellent.

Just a question

I didn't format My Storage.  How can I format My Storage?

Can I flash it again and select "Format device internal Large Disk" if I want to get rid of My Storage?

Thanks a lot

Hi cga,

Can let me know what's the free space you got for storage and program after you flash with this ROM ?

Thanks.

ps - I think you can just flash again with the setting to format the "My Storage".  Just remember to backup files that you want to keep 1st.

Hello XRAY Man. I have tried several times to install this rom, and I alsways get "Checksum Failed! before the dump is completed. I wonder if this is related to USB port 1.0, since , my laptop with XP is old. I have a new system, with Vista 64bit, as well, do you have a suggestions or planning on Vista load?
Thanks,
Ray

Hi, I have been using this ROM for a couple of weeks now. I have noticed that reception/signal strength hasn't been good for a while. I am not implying that it is because of this ROM maybe it is an issue on my service provider's part. Just wanted to confirm if any one of you has experienced bad reception/lower signal strength after installing this ROM?

Also any comments form XRAY MAN regarding this are more than welcome???
