The Samsung Windows Mobile SDK offers APIs to use advanced features unique to Samsung phones. You might already have experience using advanced capabilities featured in the Windows Mobile APIs, like GPS, Bluetooth, or multimedia support. In addition to the Microsoft Windows Mobile APIs, you can use Samsung APIs to access phone features such as the accelerometer, notification LEDs, and haptics feedback.

Yes it has.

Our Omnia community will no doubt start playing around and making more improvements over the standard SS offerings on our phones.

The real question is how well will this catch on with the non-hobby WinMo developer community. Surely they could get more for their efforts by doing non-device specific winmo apps or for the other platforms...

MAYBE SOMEONE CAN DESIGN A LIGHT SENSOR AUTO LOCK AND UNLOCK SCREEN, IF THE LIGHT SENSOR API IS INCLUDED
