Guest KurtisAB
Ok well im about to buy a new screen replacement because mine is probably the most scratched up thing you will ever come across. I just have 1 question, does the old screen just peel off? and the new one just glues down? Or whats the deal with that? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/OEM-Motorola-Q9h-LCD-Lens-Screen-Glass-Replacement-Q-9H_W0QQitemZ200289009521QQcmdZViewItemQQptZPDA_Acc essories?hash=item200289009521&_trksid=p3286.c0.m1 4&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A1|39%3A1|240%3A1318://http://cgi.ebay.com.au/OEM-Motorola...%3A1|240%3A1318 Im buying that^^^

Be careful though, there is a glass lens beneath the plastic coating. You don't want to accidentaly break that and damage your LCD beneath. As long as your new part comes with fresh adhesive (wich it should, but there's no gaurentee w/ stuff like this), you can clean off the old adhesive and put the new one right on. If the new one does not have adhesive, you'll never get a very good seal. My screen gets scratched a lot, but I tend to just replace the whole front housing. Finally I've just gotten around to using screen protectors.

Following the instructions for replacing the front housing that are floating around, make sure the LCD doesn't get stcuk in the housing when you remove it. Mine did and I wound up snapping the ribbon. Since I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get the riser off that the ribbon is connected under, I had to get a new phone.
