Im currently using the black s2u2's wallpaper. However recently i saw a video of this animation, whereby the guy's s2u2's has his name on the black wallpaper, which has the glossy animation from left to right, just like the effect on the words 'slide to unlock'.

How can i do that? What do i need?

Try them, or get a friend who's a webdesigner.

If you want an animated gif .. the best app out there is xara 3d.

you can create your text and animate it with lighting and background or transparent and then save it as a gif.
