go to the registry in HK_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\HTC\manila2d\InternetWidget\customized
create another key named 1 (as you see the 0 key is already there, it is the youtube bookmark)
go to 0 folder and copy all that is inside into new folder you created (called 1)
in the folder where now 0 and 1 are you will see CustomizedCount entry. change it to 2.
go to folder 1
customized title is the name displayed on the internet widget tab
customizedurl is, you guess, url it will open when you click on it. change those two valuse to whatever you like
if you want more than one bookmark, just do the same procedure but instead of naming folder 1 call it 2 and change customized count to 3.

the same way you edit url and name of the site, there is a special entry for an image, just enter its location

Thats really hassle! How many times you want to do that if you have a lot of link in your favorites?

If you know how to transfer your computer favorites to opera mobile, then you will have all the link in opera mobile favorites and also the internet tab in m2d automatically.

Until the future of opera Mobile able to import Desktop IE favorites or at least share favorites with IE mobile, then here a:-

Quick Guide to transfer ie desktop favorites to opera mobile

1. Install Opera Deskstop version in your pc
2. Open Opera Desktop, transfer/import ie favorites
3. Retrieve opera.adr from Opera desktop directory
4. transfer opera.adr to opera9 folder in omnia (make sure u put in correct opera9 folder- some ROM have few opera9 folder - Khuanchai's 4-in-1 is in \windows\opera9)

Thats it. The favorites will not appear immediately in M2D Internet Tab,

It only appear after you use any of the link to surf in opera mobile.

i can only find two opera.adr related files..... operadef6.adr and opera6.adr...... operadef6.adr is in the opera folder and the opera6.adr is in bigdaddy/appdata/roaming/opera/opera

Glad it worked for you.

As for the icons, I'm not sure because I've never tried to change them myself. If you add favourites the other way, which is adding entries in the registry, I think you can specify path to the icon file.

true you can add the icons that way, sorry to keep you waiting.
So i said you should go into registry HK_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\HTC\manila2d\InternetWidget\customized
there you should now have folders that you created earlier 0,1,2,3 etc.
It should look like this:
Posted Image

Now find an icon manually and its path, default path to put internet icons is in Windows\ManilaGFX
So let's say you want to add google. You should find a google icon and put it in Windows\ManilaGFX. Name it google.png
Go to one of this folders and edit CustomizedUrl field
in the string entry field put Windows\ManilaGFX\google.png

I use Opera for most of my web browsing so I have Opera set as my default browser.  Is there any way that I can add a link to this tab but have it open in IE?  I would like to use IE just for OWA.

Thanks in advance,

You need M2DC: http://www.modaco.co...er-me-the-m2dc/ (post3).
Open it,and in internet tab select the path to your browser(ex.\program files\skyfire\skyfire.exe

Hi guys,
I have a little problem. I did everything as in the guide but when I try to open the website I added it opens my home page instead of indicated URL. I am using opera mini 5 as my default browser.
Also, I can't find where opera saves its bookmarks. I went through all possible locations on my device with no luck.
Help please,
Thank you
