I'm facing a serious problem after upgrading from WM 6.1 to 6.5, as the ActiveSync is not synchronizing by all the means. After seting Up the device and the topics require to sync. it is starting the process then show ERROR. I've tried more than 4 Roms (Sector, Shokka, and other good cookers) but no use. I'm using Vista but it responded well when I tested it on XP. Is there is a relation with the set page related to the Outlook Web Access and what should I do.  Any explanation and solution please.

Hi

I have had the exact same issue but with XP. Tried all roms but when i use another PC it works ok.
Not sure what has happened to the USB connectivity for activesync

Still looking for a solution other than re-installing windows

I have the same issue,

It's for sure a 6.5 problem, first connection is ok, but after that it fails.

My workaround while usb is connnected :
goto setting/Connections/USBtoPC toggle the "enable advanced ..." => press OK
and
goto setting/Connections/USBtoPC and toggle back to the original value => press OK

That fix didnt work for me, but i managed to fix things (don't know what it was exactly).

- Remove sync profile on phone / PC
- Uninstalled Windows Mobile Device Center (reboot)
- Did a repair install on Microsoft Office (this Problem seems to be something with the connection to outlook ...)
- Reinstalled Winmo Device Center (without phone plugged)
- Plugged in phone and voila it worked here

Since I installed 6.5 rom on my Omnia I never had problem with synchronization.

as far as i observed, only the finger mouse doesnt work
