Hey guys can some expert extract camera app from diamond 2 and cab it so that we can use it in diamond and get full vga with 30fps recording.

Or is there any third party app which can increase fps in diamond so that the recording will be clear not shakey like it is now very spooky in medium light pls help guys i want to capture some golden moments of my brothers son but every time i try to capture or record him the camera gets spooky and shakey images all the the time and i am not able to record it clearly.

Pls guys u need to sort this flaw in diamond by any way?

I made this topic so that some expert will try to find a way to increase the speed of camera recording and capturing as in nokia phones.

Pls find a way for this and thanks in advance.

A bit of a tough ask from a forum that is made up of liitle more than enthusiasts!?! If you have an issue with the Diamond's recording capabilities (which from what I've seen, are pretty lousy) then perhaps you should send your comments to HTC directly?

As for the 'golden moments of my brothers son', have you considered beg/borrowing a video camera if its as signifcant an occasion as you suggest?

Hey bro if u think its lousy then i think to are too lousy cause diamond has many functions and its lacking only because of camera and even though its for business use still it should have atleast 25fps even in low resolution :D

And btw i already got a sony cybershot handcam and even u know its superb in recording so need of borrowing

For its recording capabilities i dont need to send any comments to HTC directly cause this great site is for that purpose and also forums like xda, etc are for rectifying the problems and making new apps for it and they are not lousy like bro :(

I just wanted decent fps, no flickering cause i always carry my diamond and not the handycam so many of us needs all the things in one mobile and so what is ur problem with it?

I just commented so that some body can do something or atleast send some good comments not the lousy comments as u did

And many agree on my comments cause all of us got some or the other problem with everything and nobody is perfect so the forums like this is of great help to us and thanks WinMo and xda for forums, feedbacks, etc.

I've just re-tested the camera and perhaps I was a little harsh on it's capabilties after all.

I completely agree that forums like this one and XDA provide a wealth of fantastic information and apps to help fill the gaps that are otherwise left by stock firmware etc.

However, I still think what you are hoping for may be asking quite a lot. Aside from the immediate software issues, don't forget the Diamond 2 does have a 5mp camera rather than just 3.2mp on the Diamond 1.

I am happy to be proven wrong and hope for your sake that I am, but it's been pretty quiet around these parts lately. :D

He was simply agreeing with your opinion that the video recording is lousy. And I agree too - unless the light is good, the still camera and video camera abilities are poor.

Also this forum is not the kind of place to generally get this kind of request fulfilled - this is definitely a question best asked on XDA-developers.
