AzinTegra has the May 11th ROM, but refuses to release it because he feels that people haven't been giving him the credit he deserves... At least we know they are working on it and we have "something" to play with in the meantime. He stuck his neck out pretty good to get the first one to us and there was never a guarantee we were goign to get our hands the May 11th one. Without him, all of us I910 users would not have GPS or all the custom roms floating around and we definitely would not have WM 6.5! This was a great combined effort that all started by Tegra putting his neck on the line and freely giving us the ROM. So instead of being a beligerant little kid about it, maybe you can grow up a little past your 12 years of age and actually say thank you to him, rather than pissing and moaning like a little 2 year old that didnt get there way. \rant off Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I know I hear all the cooks but until I read this I had no idea who had "leak" the very important beta update. I posted myself once or twice who it was that did it. I kind of looked at it like, if it were me I really wouldn't want my name thrown out every 5 minutes on the web as the one who leaked it. He took a huge chance with his job according to him. I'm sorry he didnt get the recognition that he was looking for if what necosino said is true. : / Oh well. Hopefully soon we get a "official" update. If he has the new one and doesn't want to release it that is ok. And thanks to Wozz and Wolf and Adrynalyne who have all been working on getting custom roms made to quench our thirst.. Which was only made possible by the risks Taken by Azintegra. So any post/thread in this section would not be possible without him.. I'm liking my omnia a lot more now because of the efforts put forth on this forum. It has become a great complement to my line of work due to the added gps functionality. It definately has saved me money and time because of this feature. It's more about withholding information, without plans to give it out. This is an open community. It would be similar to me showing everyone that I had WM6.5, and not giving it out, or asking people to pay ME for something that isn't technically mine to sell. While I would like the May 11th (wait, isn't that today?) release, not handing it out (after he had a few pages of people say 'Thank you') because he didn't get the amount of money he wanted (99% sure that's the case) is not cool in my book. Since he has the release, and is only telling us he has it so that he can feel in control shows some issues. Not trying to discredit azintegra, I would not be making roms if it wasn't for him (or at least as early), but I also don't feel the need to only cook my roms if I'm getting paid. Him leaking it to us is very much appreciated but what did he want? Every time someone mentions upgrading a ROM to put his name in the post? I'm not angry hopefully he will realize that people do appreciate him leaking the CC20. Maybe he just wants to tease us with it so he can get more donations? I don't know.
