Can't get snes emulator to work on my tilt

I installed pocketsnes v1.53............. onto my tilt

i can't get any roms to start...

when i choose to load a rom, the screen just goes black, then an error message comes up.

someone please help! step by step would be helpful

i downloaded this version:

i know it says blackjack 2 but i've looked elsewhere and when i looked and clicked on other download links my computer said i already had the file so i just stuck with this one..
