Hi guys, out of curiosity i found this video. it seems the Omnia running on TouchFlo 3D. Im not sure if it's a theme/skin like SPB. but i would like to try it if there's a rom built with TouchFlo 3D.

http://www.dailymoti...0omnia-tou_tech

and i also found this thread which has drivers needed for TouchFlo 3d.

http://www.pda4x.com...d.php?tid=82115

So im just wondering is this possible on Omnia. or someone has already tried it? Is it possible WinMo 6.5 + TouchFlo 3D ??

This is Iphone skin made qvga and vga devices. ppl on xda-developers had test it Omnia and said to be working.
i tried but it wasnt working for me.

If you want to get TouchFlo 2D on your omnia (which is essentially TF3D but doesn't look as good - but still very good) download and install an app called Manila 2D. search around the forums, or google. Manila 2D is the app that lets you install the TF interface. It comes with TF2D by default but you can install countless amounts of other themes around the omnia forums.

if you install M2D you'll also want to install M2D Configurator (M2DC). very essential tool for any M2D user in my opinion. also just search around for it.

I follow this thread. Did a hard reset and install the apps.
The problem is it takes out 39MB of main storage area, leaving only 13MB free.

Is there anyway to have a lite/ slim version?

best way is to get a ROM with M2D built in. Often times they cut out alot of crap you may not want, or ever use, to leave extra device storage space, even with M2D installed.

Im using sectors latest ROm. quite happy with the performance. I installed M2D. the only problem i found is the youtube tab doesnt work under "Internet". Opera shows www.htc.com even when i had changed the homepage add. Looks like M2DC only has option to point the browser location. I saw a fix for these 2 on one of the topics. gotta find it now ;)

I was sort of able to get this to work, but it is a PAIN to configure. You need to manually download the icons an manually edit the xml file to contain the names/path of the icons and well as the program you want to launch.

However, if you look around, you can find that someone has done all that work for you:

Try following the directions in that thread and see if you have better luck.

i managed to install it. pretty easy. but the hard part is where u set the bottom icons. eg. SMS,missed calls, unread emails, calendar and so on. it's a painstaking task to find the exact executable paths. I couldnt find the executable path for SMS or unread sms/mms ;)

Check in your Windows/startmenu/program file. Most of the stuff is in there.

Try installing the official YouTube app for WinMo which I heard is actually better than the original one by HTC. Then use a registry editor to link the M2D path to the exe. Worked for me.
