Sounds like you are using the standard keyboard. That has been a known bug with it for awhile.

This still doesn't work, even installing a new keyboard and tried switching...
Anyone resolve this? It seems to occur when I try to enter something in a field on the internet.

No idea, sounds like an isolated problem though. Try another web browser, like SkyFire.
