Guest Paul
If like me you use a mac primarily, or just have no use for 'HTC Sync', you can reclaim the space and get rid of the annoying notification by doing the following (your device must be rooted); adb remount adb shell rm /system/app/PCSCII*[/code] Job done! :D P
Guest tone-fu
I've tried this and keep getting the message: remount failed: Operation not permitted I'm running a rooted Hero. Is there anything I'm missing here? Cheers :D

Guest CombinedEffort
Nice one - little point in HTC Sync if you're running Linux, too!

Guest sveintore
Does this remove the exchange support, or only the USB windows-sync?
Guest Igniztion
It removes the Windows sync afaik. The Exchange sync is handled in the Mail app. If you're unsure, you could just use adb pull to store the files on your computer, then delete them from the phone. If it breaks exchange sync then just push them back.
