The camera program is very simple.

You can't mute the shutter sound , It sounds loud even in silent mode!!! Thats very indiscreet....

I've found two solutions:

1) (Obvious) To edit the file sonority.wav on \Windows

Or to modify the register

HKLM\System\Pictures\Camera\GeneralSetting\ShutterSound

Replace Current (0) for  2  This number links to a file  Thunder.Wav that doesn't exist

Instead for video I don't know how to do the same: The only solution seems to be to edit files Capvideostart.wav and capvideostop.wav

Any better idea?

This solution works on the Spanish ROM. Please confirm in yours before

Yes, you can do this :
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Pictures\Camera\GeneralSetting\ShutterSound]
"Mute"="0"
"0"="*none*"
"1"="Birdcall-\\Windows\\Birdcall.wav"
"2"="Thunder-\\Windows\\Thunder.wav"
"Current"="0"

Merci beaucoup
