Guest vonski Posted September 13, 2009 Report Share Posted September 13, 2009 Hello, Today my friend Robix1999 from polish forum pdaclub.pl found nice solution for changing German language in in Toshiba TG01. We installed files from here: http://alocala.com/downloads?func=select&a...by=2&page=1 Choose your language and download. It works really nice. In fact not all the system is translated but it is about 90%. Of course there is software from Toshiba which cannot be translated. But most of settings ans system commands are in correct language. There is a lot of language to choose so maybe for many people who get German TG01 from eBay it will be helpful. Unfortunately there is no English language... (because this is translation for English ROMs) This is probably translation for HTC Kaiser but I tested this and it works great. Maybe (I'm not sure) you need to install sdkcerts.cab first... Guest Infinaught Posted September 15, 2009 Report Share Posted September 15, 2009 'Lo, I tried applying one of the files (namely: Ultimate-X.V8.2G_MUI_GRE_200906301353). It got stuck to a blank screen right after O2's splash screen in boot. Had to master clear (hard reset) to get any response from it. Take care. I tried doing that also after your example, but I still got the same response as my first effort (black screen, no connectivity). After a master clear, I installed sdkcerts.cab , then reset it, then istalled the greek file and some of the texts (about 80% I would guess) seem to be working fine. Thanks a bunch guys! Update: Well, it proves it didn't work that well after all, with lack of access to most menus, and a series of other problems so after multiple more efforts in which the original (no screen problem) resurfaced, I've decided to improve my German until someone comes up with a stable solution.
