I'm sure I saw an app for this, but I have no idea where...

In otherwords, I want to send a file to my Hero from my computer, I use and app to send it over my local network rather than having to connect it to my PC or plug in a BT stick.

Can anyone help?  Thanks.

You could use sftp and openssh, assuming you got debian running on the phone, but it would be hard work... I wanted to do this myself, but then realised how much juice the phone uses and needs to be constantly plugged into the USB anyway :)

I use "Discovery Pro".
It sets a Discovery Server on your Gphone, and surely you can access it from a single URL like http://192.168.10.2:8888
Files can be downloaded, uploaded or removed by using this console.
