It's a shame to hear the news as iMate was there back in the early dyas with the iMate Smartphone (HTC Voyager) with only Orange and Qtek as competition. At that time the only other WM competitor as such was O2 with their PPC phone devices which was a different platform.

I still think HTC pulling the plug on supplying handsets was the real killer blow and iMate especially here in the UK, and they just hung on for a couple of years.
