does anyone have a .cab for 6.5.3 that makes Samsung Today look better?

Ninja has a .cab to make it look cool (see link below) but because it is for 6.5, it does not work well on mine.  I like his coloured icons for sms, phone and e-mail.

I am using 6.1_NewLife_EN_1.2 rom on my phone.  For the quick menu there is an option to replace original menu but I think this only works in 6.1 as when I had a 6.5 rom I too had to use Arto's remover.  I found that by clicking on the icon only, whether it is the windows one or the one  for quickmenu I had no trouble with the phone hanging, but if I clicked where the start text was it would hang for about 10 seconds.  In the options for quickmenu under the view tab is where you can put the Q over the windows icon, just change the pixel location from 192 (default) to 0.  I am attaching a zip file that contains the start menu text removers.  There is a cab for 6.1 and a dll for 6.5 along with a text file with instructions for 6.5 roms.  Hope this is of help to you and answers the questions you posted.  Enjoy ;)

can someone please give me full instructions how to install quick menu on wm 6.5.x?   i tried a few months ago, using Ameba which worked, but everytime the phone started some annoying message popped up... so I ended up uninstalling.

it would be great to be able to keep the task bar on the bottem (the one with 'back' 'done' and 'cancel' buttons) if possible.
is there a good cab to remove the start menu, but keep the task bar?

thank you kindly

Try this.  It is supposed to be for 6.5.3 start menu removal.  I haven't tested it yet as I prefer 6.1   Hope it works:
