i have problem in step relocation i have a problem when i press ReallocV its tell there is no any .ROM and .VM
but the wired thing that i can see them you know in dump but the program can't so any solution's

ADD tweak for windows to search correct in all type of files

ps: new windows have a stupid key that filter the whole files and the search engine by windows (when you select to search IN the file) it only works for microsoft documents ¬¬ ( DIE M$)


here is the tweak and using the search of windows it will return ALL the correct results...

Open windows regedit and


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ContentIndex
Change FilterFilesWithUnknownExtensions to 1


now if you set to search for podcast in the files it will list all the files, mainmenu.db, initflashfiles.dat and a few others that have a little reference


rodrigofd sayd that he use another tool, but if you do what i said, it will work correctly

i dont know why initflashfiles dont appeared, i thik i already removed podcast from it, btw you have to edit it too

cant understand, i removed everything about communities from the rom

but i removed podcast and midomi succefully, i dont know why Communities DONT GO AWAY ¬¬ heheheh

It works great and is very easy to use. Basically point 'n click.

Also i cant find OEM_Lang_0409 in OEM folder. Previously it was there on L2.

the same problem solved deleting the folder in the new os sys...(duplicated folders really annoying problem...)

I got also a buildos error "creating shadow order file..." the file ….75f623184bda.dsm already exists.
Solved it was a double file...

Basically you're set with that.

Initflashfiles is kind of a batch file that is processed at first boot, and allows to copy files from base \windows dir, to a specific directory structure (only COPY files, not MOVE, so remember you are duplicating files and thus using additional storage space, so use it wisely).

If you edit initflashfiles, save it as Unicode, but after saving, edit it on a Hex editor, and remove first two bytes.

Hi, i'm trying to port my dump to a new windows build (28205) from wm6.5
I have an error in BuildOS --> temp/dump/riched20.dll/imageinfo.bin already exists.
I copied riched20 folder in myrom's SYS as KSTAN said some posts ago.
Why I get this error, and what's the role of riched20.dll in the OS?

edit: solved, cause riched20.dll was also in older BaseApps folder.
