Hi everyone,
This is my first post... I have been playing around with the Android SDK on and off... now I really want to get started with development and get a device. I have an existing contract with three (and a nokia phone, unfortunately) and I would like to use my three sim in the new device as well. I am thinking of getting either a T-Mobile Pulse and unlock the phone or get an unlocked Google G1 from Ebay (dont want to spend loads of cash
) The G1 seems the most affordable but how does it compare in terms of hardware/ platform with the Pulse? Is the G1 not a good choice or is it after the cupcake update?

but really any advice is appreciated here!
