I need to synchronize multiple GMail accounts, few of which are on their own L2 domain.
While the Symbian app can do it quite easily, the Android soluition seems it cannot.
Is there any hint?

Use SEVEN (signup and download at http://community.seven.com), which provides push accounts on a variety of services, including GMail.

I'll give that a try, even if I would have preferred a Google branded solution ...

That feature is in 2.0 afaik so for an official solution you'll have to wait for when/if your phone gets updated.

There are several options for this even with the factory roms.

As we all know there is a Gmail App which we use.
but there is also an "E-Mail" app which you may add several (i have added 6) different accounts from any provider (even Yahoo & Hotmail is ok) .

Just use it and you may check your mails whenever you want. I've tested hotmail (with a custom domain) after i've pressed the send button i counted and before i said 7 it was there.
