After the popularity of my HTC HD2 monster walkthrough (which has had over 100,000 views despite running at over 45 mins), I decided to do a similar (albeit shorter) walkthrough of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2.

A few random highlights...
  • 2:20 - Metal battery cover
  • 2:40 - Arc Slider
  • 5:40 - Size comparison with the Hero and the HTC HD2
  • 10:30 - Start Menu contents
  • 12:30 - Slide View
  • 17:30 - Panels
  • 21:05 - Camera demo
  • 24:05 - Using the keyboard
  • 25:50 - No mass storage mode
The video is also available in HD at YouTube.

The X2 will be available SIM free from Play.com, although the release date is to be confirmed.

The X2 will also be available on Vodafone early in January.

The hardware looks great, the software looks rubbish.

Looks like SE need to spend more time covering up the Windows mobile interface, I cant see this phone attracting many people from that Video review.....

Did a great job with your walk-through, for both the HD2 & the X2! (though i watched the HD2 one after i had bought mine :D), however going on the strength of the Demo of the Hardware; it would not convince me to buy it! Despite your enthusiasm, the phone came off as sluggish and poorly interfaced!
