Customized i8000KC21889A5 Lite ROM with BT voice dialing (Thai/Eng version)

I intended to make this Lite ROM for my own use and for Thai users especially in the PDAMobiz i8000 board. However, I think it would be better if it is useful for non-Thai.

Download link:

1. i8000KC21872BT Lite

2. i8000KC21876BT Lite

3. i8000KC21883_Lite

4. i8000KC21888_Lite

5. i8000KC21889A5_Lite

Note:

- This is a Lite version. Don't expect >200 MB storage memory like RFD's UltraLite ROM. :D

- Most safe if you flash with sorg's Octans mini and use this nb0 file only.

- This ROM can be used with English and Thai CSC only. If you have deleted your old CSC, please flash it back. Note the Thai/Eng Keyboard when you use Thai CSC. I believe Samsung Keyboard will exist if you use English CSC.

- The only reason I use Rapidshare for upload is I'm a premium user. I have plenty of space and links can retain foreever as long as there is someone downloading. Most importantly, you don't have to wait a second to download like other free website. I usually monitor my downloads so it would be nice to avoid mirrors. However, I allow mirrors but will not update them here.

Thanks to:

- secany for ROM upload

- rodrigofd and wes who initiated this customized ROM project

- pako777 for his great i900executor

- gig and those Chinese cookers for first ROM customization and tools

- sorg for his dump tool and information

- PDAMobiz ROM Tool Developer (mrtoto)

- All PDAMobiz ROM Cookers:

chan , ruchonburi , hong2101 , หมอpee , Marut , pairojn , , Keng230 , undetect , khuanchai , Teeh , wasan007 , tee+ , somphon_r , Ton-nahm , belt001 , doydoy9 , IamX , kaew1995 , pairach , Bordintoon , I-Mono-I , kahuna , dorara , lomlom , xtraart , pig , xenon_art , onizza , Dong_Bang_Ka_Pi , xolono , Som7128 , neogin , draran , kamolsf , nabsk , recoba , obi-wan , greendoor , pawaj , kornp , nathawoots , tcvaio

Nice:)

Is this super ultra lite rom as Rodrigofd? or more similar to your test rom before?

Anyway if you go read Secany ROM thread and agree to his conditions for chefs, he said he'll release the new december ROM shortly.

Hello,

Like the look of this ROM, been using your test TF3D ROM for the last 24 hours or so and its good.

Will this ROM be along the same lines, keeping in some Samsung stuff, eg, Dialer and Auto SIM Configuration?

Keep up the good work.

Wiggy

KC, if some of the things you removed are what i wanted, is there anyway to install them back?

I want the ringtones (some of them), Adobereader, Games, Midomi, tcalendar, smartmemo, smartsync, Taskswitcher, themes, and youtube.

Is there any cabs to install them back available?

PS, what is 'Main Menu'?

I'm on the way back home so cannot answer some questions quickly. Hope someone who has already flashed with this ROM can help first. I want to know most about the keyboard and regional setting in non-Thai CSC phone. Please report back and post screenshots.

My plan is to upload CAB files for those programs removed in the second post. This will come later when I arrive Thailand. Maybe rodrigofd will upload before that time.

Works very nice on french i8000. Flashed with K5 CSC from secany. I had around 85MB RAM and 190MB Storage after flashing. With SPB MS and other programs installed still 70MB of RAM and 160 in storage.

I will continue testing.

Very good work Khuanchai! Thanks a lot.
