Hi all,

I try to find a good rom where S2U2 working with no crah of Manillia on 6.5 if possible.
I have try so many rom (Ryrzy is the best for me) but all rom in 6.5 crash when i Install S2U2 probably case of low RAM free.
I generally install :
- S2U2 2.14 (random wallpaper 5mn / Call id / Date for 4 appointment on 7 days / classic Clock)
- Omnia Lite Clock / Calendar / call log
- resco explorer 2008
- Galarm
- Microsoft tag Reader.

I know "Smart Lock" is good but not the best, i working to find some solutions for have :
- Multi day appointments
- A different date showing (original : 07/12/2009 | need Monday 07 December 2009)
In option the possibility to show the SMS when it's receive.

for the moment after the start i have 31Mo free of RAM ... with out S2U2.

thx for you help to find a solution, or help me to choice a good rom in 6.1.

R u using GDI or DirectDraw or Raw Buffer on the rendering in Advanced Setting?
I dun have problem using on S2U2 on most of the lastest WM6.5.

I have upload my S2U2 setting for you at here

Try copy into \Program Files\S2U2, overwrite your S2U2 setting.reg

Alternative if that does wont, try import the reg with PHM or Resco Registry or CE Registry.


Please backup your before you do overwrite your S2U2 setting. Just try to help here.

Muncheno are you working with M2D and S2U2? I don't think that this two programs will work together, because there is not enough RAM on Omnia, and M2D is crashing all the time. I had exactly the same problem and decides to use Titanium instead of M2D. S2U2 is much better for me than the Smart Lock.

I agree with you M2D and S2U2 take many memory ... i have try EverApp it's a little better but not the real solution it's close again.
Titanium.. hummm i don't like a lot... but it's the extreme solution before i receive my HD2.
BUT i prefer to help to find a solution for other people how have the same problem and i think they have many...

I think that Dheewatara-s Rom i900 Omnia V32 WM6.5.3 build 28009.5.3 MD2_Leo beta1 (5/12/09) can be solution. People say that this Rom is extreme fast. And it has 55 free RAM memory. Someone is willing to test that? I'm also interested in making S2U2 work good at M2D.

I was on the previous rom with 55mo free after flash but same problem ...

All this while I m using with S2U2 with M2D with Omnia Lite Dialer + Phonebook + Call Log.

However, I disable audio tab, internet tab, location tab as i prefer this in shortcut icon.

Muncheno could you tell us how much free RAM do you have with all of this?

same for me, 59% in use = 39/40mo free

And nothing crashes? When you working with other programs, for example Web Browser, Calendar Application or some games, everything is normal. Even when I was using M2D with Smart Lock after ending my work with Opera, ThumbCall or messages some times I have on my screen: Tap here to launch TouchFLO. That was very annoying.

nothing crash, but  can't have 2 app open at the same time it's close all the program itself when i back to the home screen.
(ex : i can't use google map and open opera 9, the first close when i lunch the second)

I have juste finish tu flash and install the rom of Ryrzy 23088 and the problem is the same.
I have :
- ROM Ryrzy 23088
- S2U2 2.14 (with random backgroud every 10 min ... I know it's use more ram... but same with out)
- PhoneEx 2.0.2
- Omnia lite calendar
- Galarm 2.3
- Resco Explorer 2008
- Exchange connexion every 15mn
- My regional setting is set to France (I'm french guy lol)
- Manilia tab Localisation / music / internet deletted by M2DC
- torchbutton
- HTC calculator

I have no idea what is wrong. Let's wait what Muncheno will answer, he is only one in this topic who get S2U2 and M2D working together.

I'm running this exact ROM with S2U2, and have no issues whatsoever
