Differences i've noticed... - 5 page homescreen (i'll see if this can be pushed to the normal build) - Acer Weather widget (i'll see if this can be pushed to the normal build) - JBlend Java (i'll see if this can be pushed to the normal build) - DRM menu in settings - 3 different types of Chinese input Interesting! ;) P Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Paul Posted December 15, 2009 Report Share Posted December 15, 2009 I've packaged up the Launcher, Weather and Java apps from this build for someone to test on the regular WWE builds. Backup the overwritten Launcher.apk first, then 'adb remount' and 'adb push' the app dir to /system/app and the lib dir to /system/lib. Not had a chance to test myself yet! So there are many useless CSL application installed and auto-started on the device. Those apps can only be seen if a CSL SIM card is inserted. I don't know the other EMEA roms, but I think the HK rom are quite bulky with too many start up process by default. The only good thing I like is the 5 pages of home and the Chinese input (actually the Chinese input is crab too.... but I have no choices....)
