Is there a thing for asian ROM im here at philippines i dont know if it will work on my phone here? any ideas?

Where did you get your phone from!? Samsung Mob!le shop in malls or Greenhils!? I would say, most probably it gonna work like a charm! I have tried most of these ROMs and have not encountered any problem, yet!

Before I wasn't paying much attention regarding Philippines Regional Settings availability on Secany's original ROMs (tbh, I tried once on "J" series and couldn't spot any, so set it to Singapore instead) but with Rodrigo's UltraLite (IK5) I can access Philippines (English) regional settings easily BUT again your toy should be compatible with all these ROMs (Official, Original & custom) that have been posted here in i8000.MoDaCo.com and it will be fully functional after flashing to either of them, as long as you follow the proper flashing procedure, step by step and without any rush!

Hey Randy, all ROMS(for GT-I8000) posted in this forum may work in flashing your phone. You can find several ROMS in this forum.

BTW, i'm from philippines too.

I'm from the Philippines too, and I flashed with the official ROM available from the Samsung update site, then I flashed the PDA to the latest ULTRALITE ROM based on the IL5 release while still using the Phone and CSC of the official release for our country/region.

I use the ULTRALITE ROM since I find the Samsung enhancements too clumsy and heavy for the system. You could do the same as me, or if you like the Samsung enhancements, get SECANY's latest ROM and just flash the PDA portion without the eboot, CSC and Phone.
