Hey all!

Does anyone know how to identify (or remove) apps that load on startup (and also services if poss).

I'm having a pain with Google IM/Chat loading in the background when I don't want it too.

Any help would be appreciated :)

There is an app in the marpket called autostarts
It is a paid for app but allows you to disable functions/apps.
Not used it fully but have tried. Does as it says on the tin

Samsung Galaxy S4
LG Nexus 4
Galaxy Nexus
Nexus 7 (32GB HSPA+)

I use an application called Process Monitor to close programs and free memory. You could use this to kill processes.

it also has a Boot tab that shows things that start on boot. Not sure if this is readonly list or not... I've got nothing I want to remove to test it for you LOL
