White one has teflon treatment on back cover, so choice was obvious for me :)

Anyone facing problem that white hero turn yellowish after 1mth of usuage?

i had tried magic easer and still the stain remain.

i have heard of reports that happening.. saw the pics of it turning yellow and even some cases where the roller trackball is yelow to almost black but the casing remains white.. very concerning if i get white and that happens.. this is one of the reasons i might be getting brown instead.. i am planning to shield it with raceshield/invisible shield.. any one with a shielded white or brown heros? i want to see pics of it after it is shielded.. wonder if the white one will turn yellow even after shielded..

I have the graphite version from Orange UK - love it :)

A few days after getting my white hero (the only available color in my country), it was already turning blue from the dye of my jeans. I've tried all sorts of tricks, but never got that clean white look back. Even ended up being embarrassed to show my phone to other people because it really looked like crap. So I decided to order a new (black!) housing from truesupplier. Haven't regretted that choice for a second!

Ditto, I'm always surprised there's not more love for the Graphite Hero, definitely the best looking IMO.

hero graphite/full black is not available worldwide.. i too would love to get the full black but i dont think i can get one in singapore.. i think atm im attracted more to the brown version more now since these white hero might get "coloured".. i would miss the teflon thingy thou.. i would get mine shielded so possibly same texture after shield? any of you has a photo of the black/brown with shield on?

I've got the Orange Graphite Hero, although I thought it had a slightly brownish tinge, so thought it might be what the marketing people call the brown one!!

White products always look nasty after a couple of months of use. They just show up the dirt more, period. A lot of the white Apple laptops look pretty grim after a while as well!

I use to have white, but I changed to Brown. White one gets easier dirty and looses the white clean color fast, unless you thread it like a flower. :) This brown actually looks almost like black, which is great. I like it.

Had my white Hero since August and it never changed colour, still white, like the same day I bought it. This is coming from a guy who doesn't care where I put my gadgets.

Yup my white hero looks awful grubby and I know I;ve been really careful with it so suspect its chemical. Was it easy enough to change the casing?

This guide shows you how to perform the first steps.

Removing the glassplate from the old housing is the most tricky part (not shown by the disassembly guide)! The glass is glued to the frame, so you will need to use some force to push it out. However, I just read you can ease it up by using a hairdryer to heat up the glue...

i have a white Hero - within first week i noticed pen ink transferred from my hand to back of my hero - used an alcohol wipe to clean it off

then i purchased invisibleshield from zagg - this is really good - haven't noticed any bad consequences from having it on the touch screen

however the invisibleshield is now looking a bit tatty - esp from blue jeans transfer to back of hero

i would recommend a darker colour - but since this was just a dip into the android world I don't really mind cause next year I want to get a new phone with Snapdragon CPU
