I can managed to receive the correct values of the magnetic sensor in Visual Basic. I'll start develop the graphical appearance tomorrow. That's enough for one day. :)

The FlashLight function works properly.

I'm waiting for any idea to improve this app.
Functions, configuration capabilities, etc. (for example spirit-level function or something like that)

Make it skinnable.  Also, what's a spirit level?
Never heard that before.

Oh nevermind, I'm a dumbass...I've always just called it a level...but yeah, great idea man give it a shot!
Thanks again for this great work.

Thanks man... Great app...

Would like to suggest to have the ability to name a city, then compass will show its direction... You can use (GPS or GSM or Manual Entry of current location) to calculate the current location...

Highly appreciate your effort...

would be good to have arrow as (changable) picture, not as vector.

Tested it. Everything works on IJ9 but compass does not work on IJC, IK5, IL2 and IL5.

Am I the only one who can't get the compass to work on firmwares newer than IJ9?

I have a problem where once I install the certs my phone sometimes won't come back on once the screen times out...only remedy is a soft reset or battery pull. when I uninstall the certs...no problems whatsoever...

I know about this problem. This problem only occurs in this version, it will not occur in the Visual Basic based app. I'm near to the point when i'm release a beta version of that. So far, it works, but I have problems with the image rotation (the .NET Compact FrameWork 3.5 not support it in any way). The compass picture will be changable, but in a difficult way for now. And no background, at least 'till I can make the transparent images to works with Compact FrameWork 3.5

In the word "certs" you mean the Samsung SDK? If yes, then I may have a good news for you. It will not needed to install with the new version, I'll use only the necessary dll-s and I will put it into the installer. But with every good news comes with a bad news. :) To the VB version will need the .NET Compact FrameWork 3.5.

Am I the only one who can't get the compass to work on firmwares newer than IJ9?

To anyone who can't get the compass to work:
1. Soft reset your phone
2. after you start the app, wave your phone in a figure 8 motion (like in the IPhone) then it will works. I tried it several times.
