I'm here to ask you if somebody has a link or something to download Windows Mobile 6.5 for an Omnia II I8000L (the american version). The phone is free, it's not blocked for any carrier. I couldn't find it so I'm asking here. Thanks a lot! Flash standard WM 6.5 ROMs available here, they work 100% fine in i8000L (i have i8000L and use it everyday with my custom rom).. Guest gdrijver Posted January 6, 2010 Report Share Posted January 6, 2010 I don't have the 8000L yet, but wouldn't you have to flas the entire ROM just like the 8000 with the exception of the Phone part since the antenna is different in 8000L? PD: Yo también me llamo Rodrigo jajajaja No, you can safely flash PDA Rom from I8000 into a I8000L phone, and viceversa, it is completely safe and you don't loose ANY function, 3G or anything. Do either of you guys know a reliable place to get the phone unlocked? They couldn't unlocked it i tried them two weeks ago. They had a news section saying Samsung wasn't giving out unlocked codes to canadian handsets. I also tried a few others with no luck. I ended up buying a rebel sim which works perfectly fine. I would love to get it unlocked but I'm also in the USA and Bell Canada won't give them to you unless your a customer. I have a raw dump useing SORGS tool from my Bell I8000L but am not skilled enough to make it into a flashable rom. if someone wants it i can upload it.
