what about google Nav? does multi-touch works in any default apps? and does the phone automatically recognize your UK SIM settings (MMS, internet and etc.)

i m probably getting mine delivered tomorrow but just darn too excited to know more right now :)

Power, been off charge for 15hours and battery at approx 75%.

No SIM installed so no GSM or 3G during this time.

Hi,

Ordered yesterday, but still at not shipped:

Order date: Jan 7, 2010 1:34 PM GMT

Checked with CC company, money has been authorised but not yet taken.

When should I start worrying that there may be a problem ? Is the system just slow at updating the status ?

Thanks all.

P.S. What UK time do they actually despatch between, assume it's not a 24 hour operation ?

I'm starting to worry there's a problem with my order too. Its been in the state "Credit card declined - Retry in progress" and "Not Yet Shipped" for over 2 days now (and I clicked 'Skip' on engraving). I've contacted Barclays and Google took the money on the 6th. I've tried contacting them but my efforts are futile and I've yet to have a response. There's no telephone number to call either, they're obviously employing the fantastically shite policy of never speaking to their customers and only communicating electronically and as slowly as possible. Really, really not impressed with the (lack of) customer service I've received so far.
Most frustrating thing is that others have actually received their phones now, <weeps>.

I may just cancel my order tomorrow.



Easier said than done mate, I know someone who has tried cancelling and you are not allowed you have to wait for it to be shipped and then return!!

this is the response you get if you try to cancel!

Here is a new story. I've just made a fresh order. Lets see how that goes. :)

There is no way you can get live support from google, I've just tried above number. B)

Now i think we need some one from press to find the whole story and help us out.

Hallelujah, my order has finally changed to shipped.

FYI, I ordered on the 6th, had to phone Barclays to authorise and google took the money out my account the same day. Has taken them just over 2 days to ship it. They must either be inundated with orders or the whole credit card authorization thing delayed things for some reason or another.

Now on to start refreshing DHL's website continuously LOL :-)
