Do you have your USB connection in your Omnia II set to 'Memoria Personale'. Default value is 'Activesync'?

Are you sure your Blu&Me player supports usb drives > 4gb?
Looks more like a question for the system rather than Omnia 2... If your Omnia drive is recognised in Windows when you plug it in via USB then there's nothing wrong with your phone.

I do have the same problem... My 8GB USB Flashdrive plays nicelly... Omina 2 won't play anything...

In my old HTC device, the only way to make it work was with WM5torage or WMStorage (i dont remember the right name)... This tinny app do the same as Samsung built in "memory mode switcher" and turns off ActiveSync and emulates a USB Flashdrive with the internal memory...

PS: Have you tried to upgrade your blue&me? The latest version is 5.4.11

It may be a "File System" related issue. I don't know what file system WinMo6.1-6.5 uses, but it may not be supported by your car stereo.
find blue&me sile system requirements and check compatibility with winmo file system.

In other words, you may read FAT32 formated usb drives, but MAYBE have problems with NTFS formated drives

I never checked it, but if the 8Gb memory on the O2 is ntfs then there's a 99,999999% chance that this is the reason why Blue&me can't recognise it... I've read about a similar issue countless times on various boards

My Current Device:
Samsung Galaxy S I9000, Froyo JP5

Put the music on a storage card, not the internal memory. Some programs have issues with reading (especially music it seems) files on the internal storage for some reason. If it will read off a memory card, you know what your culprit is.

Actually this may work, since the microSD is formated in FAT32.
Set the USB connection to use mass storage in the memory card, and give it a try.
