Hey guys. I am new to the Rom scene. I just bought my Verizon i920 in Dec. and it is already bricked.
It happened in that updated released by Samsung. Stopped at 31%.
Does anyone have the .csc file? I need it badly as Verizon wont replace and Samsung wants me to send in for repair. I dont trust Samsung so can someone please send me the stock .csc file. Please?
I downloaded the OCTANS loader and installed everything as according to the i8000 flashing guide. After I start OCTANS and plug in the phone, phone boots to the Samsung logo (not the OMNIA II logo) and says "No charging image___Download CSC binary". So I guess all I need is the CSC.
I am afraid to flash the .eb0 in case I can not fix it. Then I send it to Samsung and they wont cover it under warranty. Again, as I said, the brick happened in the Official Samsung update. Verizon refuses to give me a new phone, and tried to get me to take a Referb. Ummmmm NO THANKS!!!
Please someone help me to fix my phone. I do not trust Samsung at all (due to previous warranty issues with my 52" TV and more with the DVD player).
They screwed me over, and I is not happy bout it.
I would be most appreciative.
