Guest chamby Posted February 11, 2010 Report Share Posted February 11, 2010 Remember you may need to create the goldcard again using your SDCard if the phone has booted up with the SDCard in it. yep booted with the sd card in so started again it still didnt work but killed some time while the other RUU downloaded just hope it works this alternate way or im totally baffled (again) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest b1ck132 Posted February 11, 2010 Report Share Posted February 11, 2010 Instead of using the RUU (in case you are using Win 7, RUU might get a bit problematic) you might want to get the update.zip from the RUU (which is available in one of your TEMP folders after you start the RUU) rename it to HEROIMG.zip and put in your GoldCard's root folder. Then turning the device on with Volume down+power should start the ROM update =) Use it on your own risk though =) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
