Who needs a Nexus One when HTC are set to announce the Bravo at the MWC conference in Barcelona tomorrow!

There are alot of rumours that the Bravo (AKA Desire) will get 320MB RAM. is that true? or is the 576MB RAM you state correct? Also, there are rumours it will get Android 2.0 instead of 2.1.?

I've got a white HTC Hero now and looking forward to upgrade to a HTC Desire (Bravo). Although, I don't want a brown one. I think it was a bad decision by HTC to make black covers exclusive to certain operators (in my case - not even available in my country). Therefore I hope HTC plan to release a few more colors for this phone. Would kill for a black one ;-)

This is NOT Nexus One....This one has hardware buttons at the bottom and actually that's something I find preferrable. I also have a 'crush on' Nexus and want one, but after seeing this...well I'm not THAT in love anymore :D

Looks great. I'd love one but I know as soon as Gingerbread comes out I'll get annoyed seeing N1 owners get their updates instantly while HTC faff about and leave Desire owners hanging.

Yeah i know it actually isn't the N1 but essentially the hardware is and looks the same.

Hopefully it will come to t-mobile in the UK, seems to be the cheapest network right now.

You are right, look at the hero it takes ages to get the next update.

Ok i also like the sense its great and makes a lot easier. but its almost the same as the nexus. If we look at the updates i think nexus will be sooner to update.

what makes this phone better than the nexus (except sensui)?

Gah, why no 850Mhz HSDPA still!?

Otherwise, want!

Im feeling the same way. Why no 850MHz HTC, Why? :D

I guess its either wait 6 or more months after launch until it shows up in 850 3G, or get one when it launches and do without 3G (which im doing just fine without for now. haha). Guess i'll be getting one when it drops. :D

Where is the 720p and Dolby sound love??

it was on the slides from the leak in december

i hope they keep it, cuz this phones gonna be killer!

1280x720 resolution from a screen that size would be hugely expensive, and I don't see any use for surround-sound on a phone. Or am I missing something?

it was mentioned on the leak from december, it was on the slides and they were advertising it pretty heavily on there

plus 720p recording is coming to MOST high end phones this year, and that dolby sound is for virtual surround sound tech for headphones, the omnia HD has it

720p is the system seller here, since this is very similar to the nexus one excluding the SENSE UI and a familiar shape
