I'm stuck with this phone for another 11 months or so and i would like to flash my rom. Been using the latest evidence rom for quite some time. I really like it, but its time to move on. The only thing that really catches my eye is the new threaded email included in the newer builds. However, i would like to keep a few features in my current rom. *cough* swype *ahem. Sorry. That, and the titanium theme that has notification bar on the bottom. I'm lost. What rom? I am not incredibly keen on going back to M2d, because as nice and sleek as it seems, the broken ass weather rubs me the wrong way for sure. Never could get it to read info from my badword zip code :D Really am digging the amount of personal customization that mr bgill put into his last rom. What is a recommended rom that will compete with the rom i am already running? Suggestions? Is threaded email really worth flashing for? Guest kdkinc Posted February 21, 2010 Report Share Posted February 21, 2010 I keep going back to Storm's M2D.. :D I add NilSe M2D Theme Plus use the M2D2 tool in setting . Storm says that he'll be updating soon. Their is a new 23540 coming soon I think so maybe you might want to wait a few days. (?) I guess the rom releases of late have come to a slow drip because of new WM changes in the next few months. The work that the chefs have to apply to their rom's really doesn't warrant the effort. I just wish i could get my zip code in the weather app. I've tried adding the zip code in the weather xml but it would never work. Or location code not zip. It sucks that swype isnt in this rom. Wait, uh nevermind. The good SIP always die young. :( The new email was worth the flash. You can read email without having to enter the message. Top notch rom. I have a huge boner for the tellme app. I didnt know such a thing existed. I can now effortlessly send a text while driving.
