From 1.7 to 1.7.1 (for the moment only a patch is provided, not a full rom, so install it on trop of the 1.7. You won't lose any application or data.

Fix sound reverb on app like Sipdroid
Fix slow gallery
Fix camera (note that zoom in camera is available when taking picture under 2M resolution)

know bug: if you use acer stream lock screen, your widgets won't refresh well. You will have to remove and re-add them after reboot.
know bug: battery indicator will always indicate a little less battery than you really have. Use battery time lite widget for exemple to know the exact amount of battery available.
system will automatically reboot after first boot ( about 30s after sim panel ) : this is normal

Tried it.
It's seems less reactive from 1.8 angio, but contacts are smoother

it's good, it's just the first boot that is slow, but afte that home and apps list is fast.
first contact launch need some time to display contacts, after that is responsive.

as our test,is stable this rom or have random reboot like 1.7 (1.8??) ( don't know why)?

Yeah, now it s usable, not so fast than angio 1.5, but I can use 2.1 version, that s what I need:-)

Don't know which carrier you are using but I use Telia with angio 1.8.
The included telia APN for mms is wrong. (The port should be 8080). No problems with mms after that manual change.

Using Tele2 and its only working to send but not recive. (port 8080)
