does anybody knows how to put a logo in front or instead of the operator's name on default today screen, WM6.5?

i think you are talking about "device beta". well that feature has been removed from 6.5 you can not activate it. and if your talking about titanium than you can customize it  with chome configurator

or you can also do it by modifying registry manually.
