Guest Se7enair
At the moment i run Villain, its fast and smooth. But it is still a Leak and not the original, and the translation to german is incomplete. I will go back to MoDaCo and wait for a better release
Guest Dr. dre
I'm using Lox, it's working well and is stable to but i'm using it as a trial to the 2.1 ROM i'll wait for the official 2.1 ROM
Guest Zaid Aiman
I am still using modaco 3.1, just to get a stable ROM for my daily usage. I have tried several others 2.1 ROMs out there, which include VillainROM, KaguDroid and etc. But most of them either have issues with the camera, keyboard (too lag for me to type), force close issues and many more. If I were to rate the most stable 2.1 ROM out there, you should try the VillainROM, provided you could handle the laggish of the keyboard. But for anything else, it is superb. Guest mkrogh
Installed BeHero 1.2.3 - Really nice and almost bug free <_< Contacts from SIM, cant be disabled. Aparently MMS problems as well. (not testet) Other than that everything works great  Really fast, and very smooth.... BR MKrogh :(
Guest Binario77
I'm using VillainROM 3.2 which has more bugs than 3.1 did but even though I'm a ROM hacking newbie I've managed to work out what a few of the probs are as they have been simple such as wrong file ownership/permissions or missing mount points for SD so have managed to contribute back to the community which is probably easier in a newer ROM than a more established project where the problems yet to be fixed are more complex. Guest ZiCoN
Installed BeHero 1.2.4 and it's actually really good. Apart from MMS and facebook sync not working, everything is really smooth... Came from Modaco 3.1... #Reverted to Modaco 3.1. I had too many issues with sync and connection in general... I think I'll stick to the original plan.. A wish that Paul will put on his apron and cook up the 2.1 when it'll be released. Guest The_IMF
Villain Rom 3.2 Applied all the fixes and everything seems to be working great. It's much much much faster than the fastest MoDaCo ROM on 1.5.
Guest lemmingzappa
I'm currently running VillainROM + fixes, as it seems to be the most stable for me at the moment. Edited March 7, 2010 by lemmingzappa

Guest Roonil Wazlib
Ran VillainRom 3.1 for a while, which was nice and stuff, but my battery drained so fast!
Guest Ibanez33
Slowly getting through them all just want something to use till paul comes out with a 2.1. But so far some have been better than others but they've all had issues that would mean I wouldn't be able to use it day to day.

Guest subhramani
Tried Villian, had too many FCs, got irritated and came back to Modaco 3.1 Then then tried BeHero. Its very fast and everything, but my battery drains out very quickly. So again back to Modaco 3.1 <_< Waiting for Paul to cook up an Eclair ROM. Guest DTU
Tried Villian but got heaps of FCs, generally didn't run very smoothly for some reason. Now running BeHero, but yeah... I'm noticing the battery drain.

Guest ermacwins
villain drains battery drains fast, hows the batter with behero?
Guest shenshang
Compared with MCR 3.2b5, the rate of battery usage in sleep mode is 12% faster, 14% when screen on.
Guest Higgsy
I have gone back to MCR from Villain 3.2 for now - the battery drain is excessive, even if the screen is on min brightness the battery drops like mad when you are using it - in 30 mins of browsing this am it dropped 20%. I haven't used the phone at all most of the day apart from to check a few notifications and dropped another 20%. I think the nail has been hit on the head the other day with some investigations on XDA, the CPU speed on Villain doesn't drop below 245mhz even when sleeping. I think the only benefit for me is bluetooth file transfer on 2.1, which I must say was very handy the othernight in the pub!

Oh and I also reckon the devs are going to need kernel sources to improve the battery life further. I remember the the performance and battery improvements when Teknologist implemented his kernel. Guest Zaid Aiman
It has been 3 days since I have used BeHero v1.2.6, and so far, I really love the stability and speed that it has to offer, although I just hate they had to ditch the navigation. Hope that helps you to choose which 2.1 ROM suits you best, even our friend shenshang recommended it as well.
Guest afiorillo
I've tried almost all 2.1 ROMs and BeHero is by far the stablest, fastest, smoothest and less battery-draining one of the lot. Sure, it's not hassle-free: Facebook sync, linking from app to web and light sensor are not working and CoPilot Live cannot start in it. Looking forward for the next release.
