To get that sort of smooth 3D performance, you need to install
Ginkage's accelerated OpenGL library, make the reg changes listed in this thread (it varies depending on which version of MS3 you've got -- 3.5.3 has 3D support for Omnia).
The key here is the accelerated 3D lib, however!
This is absolutely right! I missed the fact that the video is from GINKAGE - as I'm sure a few others did. Anyway, I've installed the CAB, and made the proper reg edits and my
G Sensor works so much better now - especially with MS 3.5.3! One thing to note from the Chainfire post is that it mentions to set the CPU performance to high; however, I've mine set to AUTO and it works well anyway. Despite all of this, it's still a gimmick, albeit a cooler one now.
