I would say the main difference are

1) Standard Samsung build, no more mPro stuff.

2) Much nicer keyboard layout

3) Not much difference in terms of memory

Here is some screenshoot

sshot002.png

sshot001.png

keyboard looks exactly the same as the one in IL2 rom

hmm, only flashed PDA part and I can't change to English.

edit: nvm, seems like csc is the culprit yet again.

How do you know it is official? Most probably just an internal beta testing build.

there're a few extra steps to follow if you use WIndows 7 (or Vista). Find a comp running XP, it's much easier

OK, I have just flashed the rom. I thought I'd share with you guys about the changes made in this rom.

here are the changes from the previous rom(s) (KSTAN JB1 WM6.5.3 full rom, JB1 WM6.5.5 8mb pp full rom and official HK Samsung IL2 rom) that I have used:

1) (with widget Plus on) in comparison to:

IL2 rom, I get 4 extra mb of free ram at start-up (66mb vs 62mb);

WM6.5.3 full, I get 6mb more worth of free ram at start-up;

WM6.5.5 full 6mb pp, I get 10mb less (that's mainly to do with the pagepool difference)

More rom memory compared to all the other roms I have used (116mb)

2) new Samsung Menu, and it works and loads smoother than the old one (btw.... it's exactly the same as the Korean T-Omnia II Samsung Menu and the one you see in Taiwan JC1 rom)

3) new touchwiz skin for pretty much all Samsung apps (Streaming player skin is actually.....well not right!) including Samsung dialer and settings

4) now when you enable touchwiz, Samsung Menu actually comes up instead of WM6.5 default shitty waggy honeycomb (when you tap "start" button) PS. I like WM6.5.x version of honeycomb, it's actually customisable

5) in comparison to IL2 rom, the Widget plus homescreen has been redesigned slightly (now you get to press homescreen 1/2/3 in addition to the traditional swiping method). And it's less sluggish.

6) all the games, except for bubble breakers and solitaire, are gone (only icons are left in both WM menu and Samsung Menu)

7) new large indicator which is exactly the same as the one found in Taiwan official JC1 rom

8) newest version of Windows Live

ZHJC2 dose not have mPro startup GIF. and its as good as ZUJC1 with different dialer skin, as long as you are ok with default chinese input keybaord.

New Smasung Main Menu, new Samsung dialer and new theme (same as the one you see in KSTAN JB1 WM6.5.x rom) with slightly (only slightly) different colour from what you see in earlier roms (ie. JB1)

Guest msra6la2

here are some screenshots from my phone

PS. I have installed quite a few big apps, that's why you see there's only 78mb of rom memory avaliable. Initially there was 115mb of rom avaliable
