Just wondering if it will run (and what to do to persuade it to)  - tried it without the pocket pc patch and with the pocket pc patch - in both cases it does not work - memory access error or it crashes.

The phone is as standard on Orange (via carphone warehouse upgrade scheme) and is using the standard os /rom

Have rung tomtom (yup its a real program with product keys etc) and they say its not on their compatibility list so can't advise using it on the phone

any ideas - I don't want to go out and pay another £80 (or whatever) getting the latest version, tomtom offer no upgrade discount routes etc.

HELP !

I think i've read around places that tomtom 6 doesn't work on the HD2 at all.  Take a look over at forum.xda-developers.com

thanks seems to be somewhat absolue from my research as well
