hey guys

had my desire for a couple of days now and am very impressed with how good this fone is !! its my first android fone so im pretty new to how they work etc

i decided to have a play around with the sdk tools and adb as i have a certain app that i wanted to install that can only be done via adb method.I managed to get everything installed ok and working but have come across an error when trying to install the said app

i use the following command

adb install [-I] c:\appname.apk

but get the following error

[install_failed_insufficient_storage] ??

I know the app installs to the phones internal memory which is naff !! but ive got 94mb of 147 available so i dont understand why i keep getting this error ?
Ive uninstalled all the apps i had and even tried installing a smaller app using this method but still got the same error ? I know there is space available but dont know whats happening ? the app im trying to install is 12mb plus 57mb download onto sdcard once installed

So any help would be greatly appreciated ,like i said im new to this so trying to understand it the best i ca

try going about it differently, copy the file to the sdcard, then use a file manager like "astro file manager" or "Oi file manager" to run it and chose install.

also don't forget to enable unknown sources in settings ---> applications ---> unknown sources
