Thank you for those ROMs, but they doesn't suit me. I just hate M2D and FLO. I taught I'll change my mind with your ROM, but I just find SPB Shell much more usable. In German forums I saw you also issued Clean versions, even without Titanium. I doubt you will bother to issue one of those in English though it would be great.

Hey,

1. From Start Menu-Settings-System-External GPS, Set GPS program port to COM 3 (It's COM4 in this ROM) , Hardware port com 9 baud rate to 4800, and remain checked Manage GPS autumatically (Al these setting are windows default) Save new settings and soft reset.

2. Now start iGO, Settings, GPS, Set Port 3 and baud rate 38.400

Mine worked with these settings

Thanks a lot, first settings was already set as you mentioned, but the adjustment was from iGo seetings as mentioned & it worked.

i removed Hamburg from weather tab but it still is on home screen. after soft reset too

ok it will automatically transfer ur loacation about 5 to 10 min. in Homescreen or do Softreset. Make sure that u added only one location.

Dear friends ,

i have very important and Urgent question

now i feel that my phone is in the " Top Mode " .. what that mean ?

i mean that i flashed the rom , modified the date and time , installed my favorite apps , organized my M2D tapes ,

updated my weather tapes , updated the menu and organized what i want to organize , etc

i mean i am OK now with my phone and every thing is in the top

my question is , what can i do to take backup of EVERYTHING ??

time sitting , apps , M2D tapes , weather update , menu update , etc

you know why ?

because it takes a lot of time to setup and modify all that , almost 2 hours or something

so i would like to take backup for the whole thing

because if something happened and i have to hard reset , i guess i will kill my self instead of making ALL that from the beginning

Please answer my question ASAP my friends

any way , i have a problem with updating the phone part

i can't upgrade it using the links that Karzy posted ( Phone.bin )

i have windows 7 and i downloaded the one for Vista

i got this log from grandprix :

Start downloading...

PHONE-Switching USB to PHONE...

PHONE-Automatic driver detection failed..

PHONE-Attempting to open COM 0...

PHONE-Port Create failed...: COM 0

i don't know why , i tried a lot , also i closed all the antivirus progs

so what is the problem ?

i flashed the rom successfully without any problems , but the phone part why i can't upgrade it ?

I think it is imposilbe for now to upgrade phone part under win7, you need try xp.

I flashed phone.bin through Xp.

Did not see major changes though battery is draining out fast(might not be related to this).

But to be honest, I have not tested anything though.

Will post tomorrow if I see any major diff.

Wait till people flash phone.bin rather than downgrading your pc to XP just for phone.bin

this post is only seven pages now so remember we need to do our reading before posting, I think this is the third time this is asked so that´s why threads grow so much and is difficult later on to find answers... ;)

Just delete Hamburg on weather tab, put your city and wait 10 or 15 minutes for home weather to show your city or just soft-reset..
