I want to buy Motorola Milestone (because it is the only Android powered phone with keyboard + large screen), but the one of it's main drawbacks is just 256mb in contrast to 384/512mb in newest Android phones like Nexus one or so on. I believe that sooner or later the bootloader will be hacked so why not to look a little bit forward to future Android builds. So it would be very interesting to hear your opinion: is 256Mb RAM enough or it would be better to wait 512Mb powered phones in case of future Android's upgrading?

more RAM is always better  
i have acer liquid with 256 RAM and snapdragon, and i can say that all application is flying
if i'm right for android need 128 ram, for normal performance
