I know with WinMo, at initial startup, if the soft reset button was pressed at the crucial point, much of the T-Mobilified installation could be avoided. Is this so with Android 2.1? Have T-Mo messed with the OS config like they have done with WinMo devices? I was spoilt with my Touch HD in that I was lucky enough to get a generic model with a T-Mo contract from an online retailer. This Desire is direct from T themselves so I'm expecting it to be pinkyfied unless I do something about it. Any thoughts? I'm a total n00b with Android OS. One thing that isn't stock is the headphone volume on the T-Mobile ROM is very low, too low to use as a proper line-out. Flashing with the vanilla ROM sorts this out, although bear in mind the full T-Mobile ROM isn't available so you can't revert back if you need to yet.
