Guest Paul
I will of course post the file and instructions very soon. It's easy... it's my usual 'superboot' method. P

P have you rooted and replaced original with 2.1 again or are you using an earlier firmware to root?
Guest Paul
Neither... the bootloader is unprotected so I simply rebuilt a boot image that copies the root files. P

Guest Paul
I've created a custom recovery image now too. I'm going to do a MoDaCo Custom ROM for the mini then release the whole lot together... that way I test the process extensively before I post it! Guest bas-r
Can we expect a review of it at some point? I'm interested in it, but really want to know how the screen is. That is, do you really need the stylus?
Guest chrish2009
Can we expect a review of it at some point? I'm interested in it, but really want to know how the screen is. That is, do you really need the stylus? Well i can tell you a couple of things, ive just had a play with my mates and the stylus for it is crap, it folds away while ur trying to use it, the screen on the device is quite small but i can still use it pretty well with my thumbs, and i have pretty bring hands. They do come with alot of crap apps that u dont really need or there is a better version of the app on the market. It isnt the fastest of phones, it does jump a bit while scrolling. But overall if you want a cheap android phone, its not bad. But its not great. Theres also a nice review here http://www.electricpig.co.uk/2010/04/26/t-...phone-in-depth/ Edited May 11, 2010 by chrish2009

Guest xrrkrrkx
Hey Paul, Any update on the guide for rooting the Pulse Mini? Is there a ROM out there to flash to it to rid it of its T Mobile branding?? Thanks for your help,
Guest Paul
I have it all here ready to go I just haven't got it online yet. It actually won't get rid of the T-Mobile pinkness, there's no 'generic' ROM per se. P

Was considering getting my sister one of these, but would be sending it back to Ireland - no T-Mob there and would need to be unlocked. -andrew.
